About Alexander Siebert
Alexander Siebert is a post-doctoral fellow in Tulane University’s Department of Economics. He is also a Special Sworn Status researcher at the Atlanta Federal Statistical Research Data Center (ARDC). His research interests span the economics of taxation and labor, health policy, and education policy. He has conducted experimental, quasi-experimental, and theoretical research on the impact of progressive income taxation on wage growth and unemployment, group disparities in access to health services and education, the efficacy of Medicaid’s financial protection, and the cost and quality impact of value-based payment schemes in the provision of health services. His work with REACH focuses on evaluating the later life impacts of early-life charter school education.
